Episode Overview

Title: Episode 2 Plot: Robert Cecil, the heir to Elizabeth I's first spymaster, has been prepared from an early age to take over his father's espionage operations. However, upon assuming the role, he discovers that the Queen's adversaries are more powerful than ever, and he must also safeguard himself. Complicating matters, the Earl of Essex has created a competing intelligence network and is determined to displace Cecil as Elizabeth's chief spy.
