Episode Overview

Jim Hardie is escorting Lou Reese, a robbery suspect, when things take an unexpected turn. Normalie Hall, who once faced execution due to Reese's betrayal, seeks revenge by attempting to capture Reese for himself. Determined to protect his prisoner, Jim and Reese retreat to a mountain town where Reese is celebrated as a hero from an Indian attack. To avoid drawing attention, Jim conceals his identity as a Wells Fargo agent in this town that admires Reese. Meanwhile, Hall and his gang block the mountain pass, and under the cover of darkness, Hall approaches Reese with an enticing offer for his freedom.
