Episode Overview

When Michael unexpectedly walks in on Jr. and his girlfriend in an intimate moment on his bed, he decides that they can no longer share a home and kicks his son out. Jay, feeling for her son, disagrees with Michael's harshness but acknowledges that Jr. deserves some consequences. She sets up a tent for him in the backyard while she tries to mediate with Michael. It’s only after Vanessa has a candid conversation with Jay that Michael realizes he might be pushing Jr. away for good. Reflecting on his own past, he ultimately agrees to let Jr. return home.
