Episode Overview
Adam feels the weight of expectations from his mother and peers to detransition. He chooses to dress as Gracie for dinner with his grandmother and starts living as Gracie once more, leading him to self-harm as a way to cope with his gender dysphoria. After Clare discovers him hurting himself, she urges him to stop seeking approval from others and return to living as a boy. Adam’s mother ultimately accepts him, and together with Eli, Clare, and Drew, they burn Adam's "Gracie" outfits. Meanwhile, Anya struggles with her mother's cancer and disrupts a school project with Holly J. and Sav, causing Holly J. to think Anya is upset about their relationship. Additionally, Dave continues to pursue Miss Oh, learning that she has just ended her relationship.
