Alli is determined to ensure Johnny stays committed to her. Believing that having sex will solidify their bond after learning about his past, she chooses to lose her virginity to him. However, afterward, she feels uneasy in their relationship and decides to end things. Johnny later reveals that he was a virgin too, and that his "history" was just gossip. They reconcile, returning to a stronger relationship. Meanwhile, Mia grows worried about Peter's ongoing communication with Darcy. When she presses him about the letters and his feelings, she leaves him frustrated by his inability to give a clear answer. The next day, Peter admits he loves Darcy but is also in love with Mia. Hurt by his mixed signals, Mia breaks up with him, deciding that his indecision was enough to end their relationship.
