Mia finds herself failing English and faces the prospect of retaking the class unless she nails her final assignment—a public speech about her vision for the next five years. The catch? The speech is due tomorrow, and she has a modeling photo shoot scheduled for tonight. Torn between her two passions, Mia flops during her speech. Although she contemplates dropping out to pursue modeling full-time, a heart-to-heart with her mom leads her to realize that education is key for her future, prompting her to return to Degrassi.
