Episode Overview
Edina finds out that both Marshall and Justin have stopped their alimony payments. Saffron colludes with Edina's accountant, leading Edina to mistakenly believe she's hit rock bottom financially, prompting her to cut back on her spending. However, during a supermarket outing, she and Patsy end up loading three carts with groceries and even swipe a crate of champagne. Edina's compact Alfa Romeo gets towed outside Harvey Nichols, and soon after, they are arrested for DUI and multiple offenses, including assault and theft. On the trial date, Edina launches into a desperate tirade to defend her choices, but it fails. Along with a hefty fine, both women are sentenced to community service at a local nursing home.
