Episode Overview

Patsy inadvertently sets the Monsoons' kitchen ablaze while smoking a cigarette. Afterward, she and Edina contemplate a night out but change their minds upon discovering that Saffron is anticipating a date, which embarrasses her. To complicate things further, Mother accidentally locks the three women in the living room as she heads to the pharmacy. Edina bombards a blushing Saffron with inquiries about her romantic life, leading the trio to share their own birth stories. Patsy, feeling neglected by her own mother, grows resentful of Saffron’s privileged upbringing, igniting a heated argument. When Mother finally returns and frees them, Edina and Patsy make a hasty exit, leaving Saffron with her date outside. A flashback reveals Edina's intentions to put Saffron up for adoption.
