Episode Overview

With Saffron heading off to university, Edina feels a deep sense of loss and helplessness. Meanwhile, Patsy faces unemployment when Ella magazine shuts down but soon gets an enticing job offer from her colleague Magda at a magazine in New York. As Edina and Patsy drown their sorrows in alcohol, they lament the passage of time and the upheavals in their lives. When Saffron returns for a visit, she is horrified by their antics. Edina's announcement about selling the house to pursue self-discovery infuriates Saffron, who storms out. This decision also strains Edina's relationship with Patsy, who ultimately chooses to accept the New York opportunity, feeling betrayed.
