As the Camdens get ready for a Shabbat dinner at the Glasses, Annie is in a rush to prepare traditional Jewish dishes. Simon seeks permission from Matt and Sarah to invite his friend Morris, who is half Jewish, to join them. However, Morris's lack of knowledge about his heritage leads to unexpected awkwardness. Meanwhile, Lucy and Mary feign illness to avoid attending the dinner, wanting to stay home with Robbie, where Mary ends up flirting with him. At the dinner, Eric and Annie are taken aback when they discover that Matt is considering converting to Judaism.
