Kelly returns home from her modeling gig in New York, bringing along her artist boyfriend, Colin, who has a loft in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Brandon is back from his summer job at the Boston Herald only to find Val's loud friend, Ginger, crashing at their house. Val and Brandon decide to steer clear of her advances, but Ginger makes her intentions clear toward Brandon. Steve, Brandon, and David contemplate renting a penthouse together, while David reveals his breakup with Clare. When a real estate agent informs Brandon that potential buyers plan to demolish his house, the group decides to throw a wild party and wreak havoc. Later, Brandon learns the house is no longer up for sale, meaning his parents still own it. Donna is enjoying her summer with Ray, who is trying to redeem himself.
