Ray presses battery charges against Joe, leading to Joe's suspension from the homecoming game after the coach learns he broke curfew on Halloween. The team turns against Donna until she clarifies that Joe was merely looking out for her. She decides to testify for Joe, risking public exposure of her abusive relationship with Ray. Meanwhile, Donna earns a spot on the Rose Court. Felice shares her past trial for the court, revealing she dropped out due to pregnancy, later marrying and experiencing a miscarriage. Jonesy enlists Valerie to act as a prostitute to catch a cheating husband, but David disapproves of her secrecy and bails her out when she's arrested. Val and David end up together. Brandon struggles with Dylan's exit while wrapping up his affairs, but Kelly lifts his spirits, causing jealousy for Susan. Steve is tasked with guarding the school mascot during homecoming week, and Colin helps him pull a prank on their rivals, S.C.U.
