Episode Overview
Valerie feels heartbroken and despondent when neither her mom nor Jim and Cindy show up for her graduation. In an attempt to reconcile with Kelly after hearing her pressure Brandon to evict her, Val asks Steve to persuade Brandon on her behalf, but he ultimately goes through with the eviction. She ends up checking into a motel near the bluff where she once considered ending her life. Brandon discovers a suicide note and learns from David where she might be. Meanwhile, Donna contemplates deepening her relationship with David, who is assisting Steve and Muntz with a senior prank. Kelly is livid when her father insists on attending her graduation, and the group receives invites to a special "roaring '20s" themed grad party, with Kelly's sister Joy revealing that their father, Bill, is behind it.
