Episode Overview

After graduating from college, the group struggles to secure jobs. Steve takes on the role of alumni representative for his fraternity, earning just a dollar a year. Valerie jumps from one odd job to another, attempting to persuade David to let her manage the club. However, he rejects her offer, even as the After Dark faces tough times. David refuses to move in with Donna until she clarifies their relationship to her mother. Meanwhile, Steve's interaction with Carly Reynolds, a single mother, leads to her losing her waitress job. Brandon and Kelly find it challenging to adapt to their new living situation and plan a Hawaiian getaway, but Kelly hesitates to delay starting her new job. Donna looks for work as a second assistant to a designer but ends up being the sole assistant and is invited to help with a photo shoot in Hawaii, prompting the group to consider a vacation. Ultimately, Kelly decides not to join after catching Brandon with another woman.
