Valerie confronts Johnny, who adamantly claims he doesn’t share needles and is in good health. David urges Valerie to get an HIV test, but she dreads finding out the truth. To avoid facing her fears, she dives into a party lifestyle. While out at a club with Noah, they venture onto the roof, and she dangerously walks along the edge. When she slips, Noah saves her but she pushes him away upon noticing a bleeding cut on him. A desperate Johnny shows up at the club and reveals he is HIV positive. Meanwhile, Brandon and Kelly argue over wedding plans, struggling to choose a ring, share a memorable story for David's wedding video, and agree on vows, leading them to wonder if their disputes signify deeper issues. Noah causes tension with Donna by voicing his skepticism about marriage. In a twist of fate, the wedding caterer saves Donna from a runaway pickup truck. Sarah heartbreakingly leaves Steve to return to her husband.
