Episode Overview
While packing up Brandon’s things for shipment, Kelly stumbles upon a letter from Valerie advising Brandon against marrying her. Fueled by this discovery, she turns the group against Valerie, prompting them to skip her Thanksgiving gathering. To help Kelly see things from Valerie’s perspective, David shares details about Valerie’s difficult upbringing. Though Valerie isn’t seeking sympathy, Kelly insists on lending a hand with Thanksgiving dinner. The two women reach a temporary peace, but Valerie unexpectedly announces her move back to Buffalo, expressing regret for the chaos she caused and thanking everyone for their friendship. Meanwhile, David has a brief fling with a girl, unaware she’s only seventeen, leading to statutory rape accusations when she tells her parents. Additionally, Noah, after a night of heavy drinking, blacks out while driving and crashes, fearing he may have been involved in a hit-and-run, so he turns himself in. Donna's cousin Gina arrives in town with an ice show but soon loses her job.
