TAPS heads to a historic site in North Kingstown, R.I., to unravel a chilling mystery. The Carriage Inn, constructed in 1760 and now operating as the bustling Hoof, Fin and Feathers, is known for its eerie occurrences. Witnesses have spotted a woman in clothing from the late 1700s in the main dining area, while a man in black with a book has been seen in the bar. However, the most unsettling sighting occurs in the barn-turned-banquet hall, where a young girl who appears to be burned has been reported. The cellar and attic evoke feelings of deep unease; several staff members refuse to enter them alone. The attic is particularly strange, with sudden drops in temperature affecting specific areas, such as a person's face. Despite these hauntings, owner Linda Wadensten feels safe and seeks TAPS' help in uncovering the inn's secrets. TAPS then travels to Groton, Conn., to assist the
