TAPS explores the eerie remnants of Buffalo Central Terminal, a once-glorious art-deco structure. This 14-story train station and office tower opened in 1929 but ceased operations in 1979. After changing hands several times, it was finally acquired by the Central Terminal Restoration Corp. in 1997. Since its closure, the terminal has become a hotspot for ghost stories. Urban explorers and dubious paranormal investigators have ventured inside, often leaving in fright after unsettling encounters. One volunteer reported seeing two figures in vintage attire by a water fountain; when he approached, they vanished along with the fountain, leaving him too shaken to return alone. Cold spots are frequently felt throughout the terminal, especially on the platforms, and visitors have even received loud bangs in response to their calls into the darkness.
