Barnaby Jones (1973)

Episode Overview

An employee at a bail bonds business, connected to Barnaby through friendship, is pressured by a man seeking to be bailed out. The man promises a cut of the profits from some items he wants to sell, but he attempts to deceive the employee. In a twist, the employee tracks down the man, kills him, and steals the goods. After disposing of the body, the bail bondswoman enlists Barnaby to locate the missing man, threatening to lose the bond if he fails. Meanwhile, the employee tries to sell the stolen items, only to face demands from the man's partner, who is also seeking his share.
