Episode Overview

Captain Knapp greets Princess Illiana and her son, Aris, the ambassadors from Tren'La, who bring centuries of knowledge about the Grey. Seeking refuge from a Grey assault, they ask the Federation for assistance. However, Admiral Nechayev must decline their plea, even though their advanced spatial fold drive could be beneficial. When Aris teams up with new Academy graduate Artim Ibanya and uncovers Grey soldiers on Ba'ku, Knapp is forced to lead the fleet in a defense against an impending Grey attack on Deep Space 12.
