Episode Overview

Shelby meets a Ferengi trader and gives Luko and Lefler the green light to acquire a vintage Starfleet vessel. Once they bring the ship back to DS12, Lefler gathers a crew to reactivate it, and they receive clearance to take it for a test run. However, their plans are soon disrupted when they intercept a distress signal, putting them in the position of being the sole rescue option for a stranded science ship in peril.
