While administering an exam, Mrs. Tishell becomes enchanted as Martin holds her hands and gazes deeply into her eyes, reigniting her feelings for him. Meanwhile, two military policemen arrive at the station in search of Mike Pruddy. Al feigns ignorance about Mike's whereabouts but secretly rushes off to alert him that the army is on his trail. Louisa then surprises Martin with some startling news.
