Frustrated with Buddy's constant presence, Martin decides it's time to take Buddy to the vet for euthanasia. Meanwhile, Ruth discovers Bert's secretive attempts at distilling his own whisky. Clive grows curious about Mrs. Tishell's mysterious cooking habits, while Penhale awkwardly fumbles his attempt to ask Janice on a date. Meanwhile, Louisa and Martin's therapy task leads them to a beach picnic, which is unexpectedly interrupted by local veterinarian Angela Sim, who seems to be experiencing some sort of hallucination.
