Overview
The Hard Times of RJ Berger, a comedy series from MTV created by David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith, follows the awkward life of RJ Berger, an unpopular sophomore at Pinkerton High in Ohio, who grapples with an unusually large penis. His two close friends include the popularity-driven Miles Jenner, who often clashes with him, and the lovestruck goth girl Lily Miran. RJ’s crush, cheerleader Jenny Swanson, dates the bully Max Owens. Blending elements of coming-of-age tales, the show premiered on June 6, 2010, and ran for two seasons before its cancellation in August 2011.
