Episode Overview
Grady’s family has just relocated from the city to a swamp, and neither he nor his sister, Emily, is particularly excited about it—especially when Emily discovers a snake in the medicine cabinet. After Grady jokes that the snake resembles Emily's ex-boyfriend, their father insists he release it into the swamp. While doing so, Grady loses his way and ventures too deep into the marsh, where he encounters the local hermit. The next day, he meets Will Blake, the only other kid in the area. Will warns Grady about a bizarre fever linked to the swamp and claims the hermit is a werewolf. Grady is intrigued, but his family doubts the story. That night, anxious about the "Fever Swamp," Grady heads downstairs to secure the basement door, only to be attacked by an unknown creature. Could it be the werewolf?
