The wedding day has finally arrived, and Vint and Naomi are set to exchange their vows. Eunice, eager to perform her solo, first approaches Vint, who tells her to discuss it with Naomi. Mama surprises Vint with his father's ring as a wedding gift, but Eunice believes it belongs to her, as Carl always intended for her to have it. While Naomi prepares, she shows Eunice the ring, calling it her something blue, which she plans to wear around her neck. As Vint and Naomi recite their vows, Eunice, already frustrated with Mama for giving away what she considers her ring and fueled by a few too many drinks, bursts into her solo. Mid-performance, she confronts Mama about the ring, leading to a chaotic shouting match that ends with Ed having to carry Eunice out. Later, Mama and Fran relax on the couch, enjoying the newfound calm, as Vint, Naomi, and the kids head off to Arizona.
