Vinton comes up with the brilliant idea to take the family, excluding Sonja, on the game show Family Feud for a shot at the $10,000 prize. He picks each family member for specific traits: Buzz as the charming teen, Naomi for her looks, Mama as the lovable grandma, and himself and Ellen as the clever ones. However, Ellen insists she's the only one smart enough to secure the win, implying Vint isn't as bright. After some convincing, Mama reluctantly agrees to participate. They face off against the snobbish Van Courtlands, who take the first round. Vint manages to win the second match, opting to play for the lead. After a brief break, the point values are doubled, and the Van Courtlands come close to victory, but Mama gets a final chance to steal the win with the question, "What do you wind up?"
