Episode Overview
Mama, Fran, and Naomi take Vint to the Bigger Jigger in an attempt to lift his spirits after he misses out on a promotion at Kwik Keys. Naomi encourages him to showcase his Fred Astaire dance routine at the talent show. She dashes home for his costume and sheet music, only to find him anxious and ready to back out. With her support, he performs and captivates the audience, winning the contest, a $100 prize, and an invitation to return for the Saturday night show. However, Vint’s newfound fame begins to inflate his ego. He buys a flashy jumpsuit, renames himself “Vinnie Vegas,” and completely alters his act. Mama and Fran, whom he has dismissed, refuse to attend, and when he tells Naomi to act like a fan rather than his wife, she opts to stay home as well.
