Episode Overview

With only two weeks left in Mama's term as President of the Church Ladies League, she needs a nomination to secure a second term. She enlists Iola’s help to take on Alberta Meechum, the influential power broker. Unfortunately, Iola's nerves get the best of her during the nomination, leading to a shaky presentation. Alberta, however, declares it unfair for anyone to serve another two years and unexpectedly nominates Iola instead. This sparks an election, and the rivalry escalates quickly, culminating in Mama challenging Iola to a public debate.
