Detective Joanne Terranova persuades her ex-boyfriend, the party-loving Devin Grant, to assist her in gathering evidence against their former college friend, Nicole Ryan, a mafia heiress now running her deceased father's crime syndicate. Devin, who has shared romantic ties with both women in his reckless past, feels torn but remains infatuated with Joanne, making it hard for him to refuse her request. David Bannion, a D.A. candidate focused on anti-corruption, poses a significant challenge for Nicole. Each of them is determined to take her down through power plays, manipulation, or romance, but Nicole has always been ready to fight back and allure.
