S16E21 The Napa Valley House - 3
Episode Overview
Following a stretch of intense rainfall and flooding, Napa Valley and the construction site are left in disarray. The episode begins in the sandbag-protected downtown Napa before shifting to the worksite, where foreman Jeff Castille and his team have been busy leveling the kitchen area using steel beams and hydraulic jacks. Jeff points out the water level he measured. Meanwhile, the concrete truck arrives to pour the mix for the steam walls. Our master carpenter visits a rammed-earth home being built on a nearby hill. The host inspects Dennis's roof with roofing contractor Mike McDermott, while Richard Trethewey takes Dennis to a bath showroom in San Francisco to explore options for his bathroom and kitchen.
