Episode Overview

With the new weatherweight in place, its mass is noticeable and harmonizes well with the historic structure. Inside, Tom Silva demonstrates the lightweight steel partition walls he’s constructing, while Sima Maitland inspects the new windows and the layout of the first floor. Next, we visit a factory in Tennessee where various power tools, including a circular saw that Tom follows through its production, are manufactured. Returning to the site, Tom shows us the process of installing the exterior trim on one of the newly fitted windows.
