Episode Overview
The episode begins at an architectural salvage shop located in downtown Savannah, where the owner visits a construction site to purchase reclaimed plumbing fixtures and wooden elements. As they tear up the strip oak flooring, they uncover pristine heart pine underneath, ready for refinishing. They also apply a new spray-on cellulose insulation, which fits perfectly in the uneven and narrow gaps against the building's masonry walls. The exterior of the new addition is finished with medium-density overlay board, making it suitable for painted surfaces.
