Episode Overview

This Old House journeys to Tucson, Arizona, for an exciting eight-part winter renovation of Jim and Colleen Meigs' 1930 Pueblo Revival home. The episode begins with a tour of Tucson's highlights, including tract housing, golf courses, Old Tucson Studios, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, the Air Force's "Boneyard" of retired planes, Biosphere 2, and the stunning San Xavier del Bac mission. We then visit the Meigs' residence, where the couple dreams of a new kitchen, an outdoor cooking space, a finished courtyard with a fountain, a media room, a library, a master suite, and fresh stucco—all for around $150,000.
