S27E11 Cambridge | Rain Slows Some Progress
Episode Overview
Landscape contractor Roger Cook takes host Kevin O'Connor on a tour of Mount Auburn Cemetery, the first landscaped burial ground in America, home to 5,500 trees and many famous graves. Meanwhile, general contractor Tom Silva demonstrates to Kevin his approach to achieving a contemporary aesthetic indoors by minimizing wood trim around the windows. As the garage slab is being poured, Roger begins laying 18 tons of bluestone in the front courtyard. In the kitchen, tile contractor Joe Ferrante shows master carpenter Norm Abram how he’s recycling old slate from the entryway to expand the kitchen floor with a traditional mud job. Kevin assists Tom in constructing a small deck on the guest suite's flat roof.
