Episode Overview
On the rooftop of the project house in Weston, plumbing and heating specialist Richard Trethewey introduces host Kevin O'Connor to an innovative solar hot water system featuring evacuated tube technology, ideal for colder climates. Concrete countertop fabricators arrive to create templates, with a production timeline of four to six weeks. At the Bensonwood workshop in New Hampshire, Tom assists finish carpenter Dennis Wright in applying "home slicker" and pre-stained white cedar shingles to the exterior wall panels.
