Homeowner Gillian Pierce welcomes host Kevin O'Connor to see the advancements on her home, highlighting a fully framed family room on the first floor. Meanwhile, general contractor Tom Silva is busy constructing the gable-end wall for the new addition, with Kevin joining to help raise it. Outside, master electrician Allen Gallant is preparing to upgrade the electrical service from 100 amp to 200 amp by first establishing a temporary power source with a new main connection from the street. In the basement, plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey showcases his work using a composite pipe of PEX and aluminum for new radiator lines. At the new addition, Tom guides Kevin through the intricate roof framing, unveiling the design for the future library and home office.
