Master carpenter Norm Abram and homeowner Allison Sharma explore the history of their neighborhood by visiting the original gatehouse, now a private residence. Tom updates Kevin on the excavation progress, explaining how he has supported the rear wall of the house with three temporary walls to facilitate work. A team of concrete cutters arrives to start cutting through the 10-inch thick foundation walls.
