Episode Overview
On Valentine's Day, Maxwell attempts to lighten the mood with Fran by presenting her with a silly greeting card, which backfires spectacularly. Meanwhile, Fran and her mother, Sylvia, find themselves caught in a bank heist. Back at the Sheffield home, the news of the robbery spreads quickly. Inside the bank, the robber, Leslie Tilbert, reveals himself to be timid and bumbling. Despite his criminal intentions, he shares a personal struggle that resonates with Fran. She steps in as a mediator between him and the police, while he helps her confront Maxwell about his earlier blunder. Ultimately, the incident prompts Maxwell to express his true feelings for Fran, but Leslie’s situation takes a turn when he decides to take Sylvia as his final hostage.
