Episode Overview
Fran heads to her high school reunion and is taken aback to find that most of her former classmates are navigating divorces, while she is the sole one getting engaged. Determined to stay positive, she chats with Maxwell about the everyday aspects of married life, like bedtime preferences, weekend activities, and future children. However, a disagreement arises when Maxwell reveals he doesn’t want more kids, unlike Fran, who dreams of motherhood. Realizing its significance to her, Maxwell suggests they could plan for it later, allowing time to enjoy each other first. Meanwhile, Niles feels down without Ms. Babcock to spar with, and Gracie grows anxious about possibly being sent to boarding school after hearing a friend’s story related to her father's new marriage.
