Episode Overview

Carrie decides to spend her extra earnings on hiring a maid, which leaves Doug feeling a bit excluded. In response, he enlists Spence's mom, Veronica, to assist him. However, it quickly becomes apparent that Veronica is more trouble than she's worth, creating more chaos than cleanliness. This new dynamic stirs up feelings in Arthur, who finds himself missing her attention now that she's working for Doug.
