After a decade of being married, Doug discovers a new passion—an alluring designer cologne that Carrie absolutely despises. This aromatic affair pushes Carrie to exhibit some questionable behaviors of her own. Meanwhile, Arthur tries to teach Spence and Holly the art of sneaking into movies, hoping to share his expertise in the fine tradition of movie hopping.
