Episode Overview

Noriko Takaya has only been at her giant robot training academy for about a month when the school announces it will choose two students to join the Exelion spaceship for actual missions against a mechanized invasion. One of the selected candidates is clearly the talented and stunning senior, Kazumi Amano, but to everyone's surprise, Noriko is picked for the second position! This sparks jealousy among her classmates, who suspect her selection is due to her being the Admiral's daughter from a past mission. Rival Reiko Kashihara believes this is unjust and confronts Noriko, challenging her to a duel.
