An Englishman's home is his sanctuary, and anyone who crosses that boundary better beware. But when your neighbor starts to push your buttons, how far will you go? Nigel Liddy and his wife Joanne live in a suburban cul-de-sac in middle England. They drive a modest Ford Mondeo, support New Labour, and once had lovely neighbors. But the arrival of the Squires changed everything. Alan and his glamorous wife Debra flaunt their wealth with a Range Rover and a BMW convertible, and they embody the nightmare next door. Unaware of the chaos they’re causing, Alan unwittingly transforms Nigel from a peaceful member of the community into a man consumed by obsession. Nigel documents the escalating disturbances but struggles to find anyone who will listen, pushing him to his limits. He ultimately concludes that there’s only one way to resolve his troubles... with a final, drastic measure.
