Episode Overview
The journey takes the team to Romania's Banffy Castle, often referred to as the Versailles of Transylvania. This stunning castle was once the cherished home of the Banffy family. Despite the turmoil of war surrounding him, Miklos Banffy steadfastly chose to stay in his beloved residence, and his spirit is said to linger there still. Next, they head to Poienari Castle, the infamous stronghold of Vlad the Impaler, widely recognized as Dracula. To fend off the Turks, Vlad surrounded himself with treacherous terrain and venomous snakes. His wife tragically leaped from a window, and the circumstances of Vlad's own demise are shrouded in mystery, fueling countless legends. His presence continues to haunt the castle, ever watchful.
