Episode Overview

Title: The Epic Rivalry Plot: The Clampett family is outraged when Sonny Drysdale breaks off his courtship with Elly May, prompting them to launch a vendetta against the Drysdales to defend their family’s honor. Jed heads to the Commerce Bank to confront Drysdale, but his arrival is mistaken for a robbery, resulting in his arrest. Mr. Drysdale promises to persuade Sonny to propose to Elly, but she firmly declares her disinterest in marrying him. Meanwhile, Lyle Talbot and Ken Drake make an appearance as psychiatrists questioning Jed while he’s in jail.
