The Clampetts embark on their first plane journey home for Christmas to see cousin Pearl, who is hard at work preparing a grand meal in hopes of winning over Mr. Brewster. However, when he suggests that she become his housekeeper, Pearl is left hurt and disappointed, as she had anticipated a romantic proposal instead.
