Meanwhile, Dawson unexpectedly connects with film critic Amy Lloyd, and they end up in bed, sharing a conversation about movies afterward. Joey and Jack are focused on academics; while she struggles to concentrate, he seeks help to catch up on a semester's worth of work, ultimately receiving the necessary notes from Eric, the very person responsible for Jack's earlier expulsion.
