Absolutely Fabulous (1992)

Episode Overview

Edina and Patsy embark on a vacation in France, only to discover that their accommodation is a quaint cottage rather than the luxurious château they anticipated. Lacking food and wine, they are continually interrupted by a bewildering old Frenchman whose language they struggle to grasp. Fortunately, Saffron comes to their aid with provisions. Meanwhile, Bubble arrives with an urgent note regarding Edina's home decor business but forgets to deliver it. When Saffron prompts her, Edina panics and decides to head back home. The old man reappears, conveying that Edina and Patsy were meant to be at the château. Later, customs holds the group when a suspicious white powder is found in Patsy's bag, but they're released when it turns out to be harmless. However, Patsy is shocked to realize she actually found playing ping-pong enjoyable.
