Episode Overview
As winter tightens its hold across the country, the mountain men struggle against the harsh elements to survive. In New Mexico's Cimarron Valley, Kyle Bell and his son Ben race to protect their bison herd from an impending storm. Meanwhile, in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains, Eustace Conway and his friend Preston face the region's wettest winter in years as they work to prevent a landslide from destroying a rural road. In Montana, Tom Oar gears up for a critical showdown after encountering a wolf pack, while Rich Lewis battles a blizzard to stock up on food for the season. Farther north, Marty Meierotto and his family begin to adapt to their new, isolated life in Alaska's wilderness.
